Driving test

The driving test is the second part of the driving licence test. You must have passed the theory test to take the driving test. The test is booked on the Swedish Transport Administration's website. If you have trained at a local traffic school, they can book the test for you.

You can either book the driving test yourself as a private student or through your local traffic school. If you book as a private student, it is very important that you have gone through and feel safe with all the driving skills that may come up on the driving test. To be safe, you can book a driving lesson with a mock driving test at a local traffic school. During the mock test, a driving instructor will act as an examiner and check whether you are ready for the driving test.

To book the driving test through a driving school, the driving school will ask you to show them that you drive well enough to pass the driving test.
